Baldness or hair loss can be treated effectively with a hair transplant. This treatment is safe and will give both men and women a full head of hair again. Dutch Clinic in Amsterdam uses FUE technology. The hair transplant is completed within one or two days, leaves practically no visible scars and the result looks natural and is permanent.
Thin hair or bald patches
Both thin hair and bald patches are often considered as highly disturbing. Placing hair follicles in these spots from other parts of the head allows new hair to grow in these places. The hair follicles are ‘harvested’ from the side or back of the head, the ‘donor area’. Those hair roots are genetically stronger and have the unique characteristic that they do not fall out. This makes the result of the transplant very natural and permanent.
Here at Dutch Clinic, we use FUE technology. This an outpatient treatment during which the hair transplant is performed under local anaesthetic. This means you can go home the same day.
A hair transplant can be performed in spots that are entirely bald or with some hair left. The duration of the treatment depends on the area where the transplant is performed. You will be told during your personal hair analysis and recommendation. This is also when an assessment is made as to whether you qualify for a hair transplant.
